Swimming roundup

Glens Falls and Queensbury took all but one of the first-team positions on the 2017 Foothills Council Girls Swimming and Diving All-Star team.

Glens Falls took six first-team spots, including two of the relays. Madison Maier, Emma Mauro, Kailyn Anselment and Ella Wolfstich make up the top 200-yard medley relay in the league, as well as the No. 1 200 free relay.

Anselment also earned top honors in two individual events — the 200 free and the 500 free. Ella Wolfstich is the top swimmer in the 50 free and Mauro is first-team in the breaststroke.

Queensbury earned first-team honors in the 400 free relay with a team of Megan Geczy, Angela Troisi, Allie Johnston and Anna Bearor. Willow Swan-Scott made first team in the 100 fly and the 100 back. Natalie Giumarra is ranked first in the 200 IM.

Queensbury's Megan Cook earned the top spot in diving.
