Hey all, I'll be making the long road trip north on Saturday to cover the two Class C regional finals at SUNY Canton -- the Cambridge girls at 1 p.m., followed by the Lake George boys at 2:45 p.m.

Look for regular tweets from me, @PTobeyPSVarsity, once I get there and get set up at SUNY Canton.

The Cambridge girls face Madrid-Waddington of Section X, while the undefeated Lake George boys take on St. Lawrence Central.

Cambridge and Madrid-Waddington should be an entertaining game with both teams playing similar styles -- transition offense and pressure defense with young teams. Cambridge cruised past Seton Catholic of Plattsburgh 75-50 on Thursday night.

Lake George plans to bounce back from a tight 46-44 win over Ticonderoga on Thursday. The Warriors face a St. Lawrence team that is 12-10.

Also Saturday, Ellis Williams is traveling up to Plattsburgh State for the Class D regional finals. First up, at 6 p.m., the Argyle girls take on Moriah in another showdown of similar teams that can run and play defense. Then, at 7:45 p.m., the Whitehall boys face a big challenge in defending state champion Moriah. So be on the lookout for tweets from @BookofEllis from those games Saturday evening.
