The Philadelphia Flyers recalled nine players from the Adirondack Phantoms on Tuesday.

Getting the promotion were forwards Tyler Brown, Matt Ford, Ben Holmstrom, Tye McGinn and Harry Zolnierczyk, defensemen Erik Gustafsson, Oliver Lauridsen and Brandon Manning and goaltender Michael Leighton.

Players called up are not guaranteed to play in the playoffs. They usually practice and are available in case of injury.

Tim, No reports on the exit interviews? This was an interesting read the past two years.

@Traveler,Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do individual interviews this year for a variety of reasons.Last season, I camped out for 12 hours and was only able to speak to three guys because the Black Aces immediately left town. I couldn't commit that kind of time this year, unfortunately, not knowing how productive it would be. Unlike some other teams, the Phantoms don't do a coordinated postseason media day with availability. I will have a big season wrap in Sunday's paper and on the blog. -- Tim
