BALLSTON SPA | Junior shortstop Zac Cronk ripped a two-run home run with two out in the seventh inning to lift Saratoga Catholic past Albany Academy.

The victory put the top-seeded Saints (21-1) into the Class BB sectional final against No. 6 seed Schalmont, set for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Joe Bruno Stadium.

Cronk's winning homer came off Academy's UMass-bound Brookes Knapek, who had started the seventh in relief of his brother, Carter Knapek. Cronk finished 2 for 4 with four RBIs for Spa Catholic.

Saints sophomore Terel Tillman picked up the win by pitching four innings of relief, holding the Cadets scoreless and allowing one hit and one walk. He helped his cause with a double. Kaden Learch and Colin Bradley each added two singles for Spa Catholic.
