WORCESTER, Mass. — Worcester scored three second-period goals on the way to a 5-1 ECHL victory over the Adirondack Thunder on Saturday night.
Woody Hudson scored 10:36 into the second period to give the Railers a 2-0 lead. Chris Langkow scored four minutes later and Patrick McNally finished off the scoring spurt at 16:06 with his second goal of the game.
Defenseman Desmond Bergin scored the only goal of the game for Adirondack, early in the third period. The Railers scored a late shorthanded goal to put the game away.
The Thunder conclude the weekend with a 4 p.m. game today at Reading.
