On Jan. 20, Donald J. Trump will celebrate his first year anniversary as U.S. president. Themes such as "Make America Great Again" and "America First" were truly inspirational.
All who voted for Mr. Trump are grateful for his focus on improving the economy, immigration reform and protection from terrorists, to name a few. No matter what the media says, the passage of the Tax Cut and Jobs Act was long overdue.
Additionally, it gives incentives to big and small businesses to invest, expand and create more livable-wage jobs. Let's not ignore how the stock market is soaring. I predict it will hit 30,000 within two years.
President Trump's accomplishments have included giving a green light to the Keystone pipeline project, removing strict regulations on fracking and coal mining and gave two thumbs up to drilling rights in Alaska's ANWR region. Finally, the day is very near to where we are independent of foreign oil.
President Trump has wisely canceled our involvement with the TPP agreement as well as the U.N.'s deviously constructed Climate Change Accord. I'm elated that he's threatening to withhold aid to countries which fail to hold up their end of the bargain(s).
In his strongest show of support yet, President Trump has decreed that Jerusalem is Israel's rightful capital. Others will follow suit. As God said to Abraham, "I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you."
Another promise fulfilled was his appointment of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. Likewise, Trump has appointed many conservative federal appeal judges. No more "legislating from the bench."
Obviously, I'm a very contented man ever since that glorious 2016 election night. We are headed for a "new" American renaissance under Trump's gallant leadership. Keep making America great, Mr. President.
