I was struck by the March 7 letter by the gentleman from Stony Creek.
While "draining the swamp" is indeed a complicated thing, you start by draining it little by little. You don't start by adding to the swamp with even bigger, more voracious predators and parasites. You don't start by turning the presidency into a taxpayer-funded arm of your family business.
Furthermore, I am astonished by the letter writer's brazenness in denouncing Barack Obama's imaginary "anti-law enforcement activities nationwide" only one paragraph after implying that the law enforcement professionals of the Justice Department and FBI were "corrupted."
I find it a pity that he didn't submit his letter defending the indefensible a month earlier. Given the mental gymnastics involved in his tortuous defense of the leader of his tribe, it surely would have made him a contender for an Olympic gold medal in illogic.
