In response to Don Sage's letter of Aug. 31 in regards to a call for the removal of two board members who did not vote with him on the proposed Stewart’s project: Mr. Sage uses bullying tactics to fast track the poorly developed Stewart’s proposal in the town of Schroon and to disparage anyone who disagrees with him. His attempts to influence voters are mean-spirited and divisive. His call for the removal of two elected officials who have been recognized for their contributions to the town is inflammatory and baseless.
Add to this, Mr. Sage's crass behavior at town board meetings leaves us, raised and educated in Schroon Lake, to support the censure of Mr. Sage. We need a return to truthfulness and civility.
