When an important woman in Glens Falls reached out to talk to me, I wanted to respond and I thought I could tell her something important about the bridge that connects the town of Whitehall and the town of Dresden over the water that is part of Lake Champlain, called South Bay.
A large water pipe on the bridge supplies water from Pine Lake in Dresden for Whitehall, and according to a prominent local paper, one of three engineering firms will spearhead the project of replacement of the water pipe. The project “which will include horizontal boring, which will bury the pipe along the bottom of South Bay.” However, there is no bottom of South Bay under the bridge. A rast crack in the earth’s crust is under the bridge. This crack in the earth’s crust, yes, in a line referred to as Logon’s Line, runs from somewhere in Maine southerly to somewhere in New Jersey.
There may be a huge amount of cost overrun if this project is undertaken.
