As a senior citizen with no computer, it is an effort to reply to the large headline in Section C of your paper today (Feb. 9), but for me it is important, “Local oncologist, wife fined.”
Dr. Koh and his wife Milly pleaded guilty to the drug charge and have agreed to pay the penalty. It is all very sad! I have been a professional musician most of my life and enjoyed their wonderful concerts at the Hyde for a number of years. The audience was grateful for their efforts, help to many young people, to Dr. Koh for his conducting and violin playing and to Milly for her delicious refreshments. My hope is that they can put this “innocent mistake” behind them and let their love of music help to heal them as they go forward with their lives.
