My wife of 48 years died in July of lung cancer. Everyone at the C.R. Wood Cancer Center was a true professional. Thank you Lisa for getting me through the paperwork and benefits we were entitled to receive and for a shoulder to cry on. I truly think she saved my life. Dr. Grubbs and Lisa were my crutch and could not have been more helpful during this time. The pharmacy got to know me also. They are a true asset to the hospital. What fine people. Everyone in the hospital was and should be a role model for all hospitals.

Now my complaint. After all the pain and suffering endured by my wife did no good, why put a person through this if they are going to die and my wife surely was. Nothing they did helped my wife live one day longer. All the pain and suffering seems not necessary. Why not let the patient die if they so desire. Seems as though all the pain she went through was for nothing. Nothing worked but the hospital staff. Guess I am just bitter. Thank you all for your help.
