Bravos to Greg Teresi and Anthony Ali for their latest “bicycle truck” idea to transport tourists around the village of Lake George. They also came up with the “Tiki Tours” on the lake. The vehicle, which has no engine, has six bicycle seats on each side and customers provide the locomotion through pedaling. The premise is to take visitors between restaurants/taverns where they can spend 30 minutes or so at each of three or four stops. It’s a unique idea that we believe has some promise. Their initial pitch would allow customers to bring their own alcohol on board, but we’re not crazy about that part of the idea.
