Boos to the Glens Falls water and sewer department for including $1,500 in its budget for security cameras to catch trespassers in the city’s watershed area. We believe this is a solution to a problem that does not exist. For many years, there has been talk about opening up the watershed to recreation. It is already happening. The city and the water department would be better off working on formalizing a recreation agreement with the town of Queensbury than trying to ticket local residents for hiking and walking their dogs.
