QUEENSBURY — SUNY Adirondack has formed a collaborative agreement with the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The agreement allows students to complete two years of undergraduate study at SUNY Adirondack in an associate degree program then transfer to University at Buffalo’s four-year doctor of pharmacy program.

The professional degree program prepares students to be therapeutic drug managers, working as integrated members of a health-care team, along with physicians, non-physician providers and other allied health professionals.

As part of the agreement, two qualified students from each community college will be guaranteed acceptance into the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences each year.
