QUEENSBURY — SUNY Adirondack will hold a new media open house on Thursday.
The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Washington Hall on the Queensbury campus. It will feature three breakout sessions to give prospective students and their families an opportunity to learn about the college’s radio and television broadcasting, graphic arts and photography programs, according to a news release.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, speak with college faculty and tour the classrooms, studios and facilities after each session.
SUNY Adirondack offers a two-year associate’s degree or professional certificate in media arts. Media arts applies new technologies and channels to produce video, print, audio and other forms of digital media.
The college offers a two-year associate’s degree in radio and television broadcasting, as well as a professional certificate in radio broadcasting.
