The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for southern Washington County on top of a winter weather advisory for the entire region until Wednesday as another snowstorm heads up the Atlantic coast.
The weather service predicts 6 to 8 inches of snow for the Glens Falls region, with 8 to 12 inches likely for areas to the east and higher elevations.
The weather warning is in effect for southern Washington County until 8 p.m. Tuesday. An advisory will continue until 8 p.m. Wednesday for the entire region. Expect slippery roads during the day Tuesday.
