SOUTH GLENS FALLS | The South High Marathon Dance organizing committee is taking nominations of people and organizations to receive money raised at the March event. 

The dance is set for March 4 and 5 at South Glens Falls Senior High School. It raised more than $621,000 in 2015, which benefited 44 recipients. Nearly 140 requests were received.

To nominate an individual or organization, visit shmd.org/application. Applications are due Jan. 4, 2016. Any nominations received after that will be kept on file for the 2017 event.

The event has raised more than $4.84 million since its inception.

Any individual or organization interested in conducting fundraising on behalf of the dance should email the dance committee at events@SHMD.org. All fundraising events and use of the dance’s name and logo are subject to approval by the South High Marathon Dance Committee. Donations are also accepted at Donations@SHMD.org.
