STILLWATER -- The body of an Albany man was found in the Hudson River in Stillwater on Wednesday afternoon, but State Police don’t believe he was the victim of foul play, officials said.

Police are investigating how Marcus K. Johnson, 38, wound up in Saratoga County. An autopsy was conducted and the remains were identified as those of Johnson, but State Police did not say what the cause of death was found to be. They said, though, that the death was not considered suspicious.

Johnson was a student at SUNY-Albany and was last seen on Nov. 23 in Albany.

He was found by park rangers wearing winter clothing in the river Saratoga Battlefield National Park.

State Police asked that anyone who knows why Johnson was in Saratoga County contact them at 899-2319.
