Bronk bookcase

This bookcase, with a bust of nationally celebrated poet William Bronk on top and Bronk's books inside, was recently added at the Folklife Center in Crandall Public Library to celebrate the centennial of Bronk's birth. Bronk lived in Hudson Falls.

HUDSON FALLS — A celebration of acclaimed local poet William Bronk's work and life on what would have been his 100th birthday will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Hudson Falls Free Library, 220 Main St.

Readings from his work will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., then those who knew him will reminisce about his life. The event will conclude with birthday cake and socializing.
