HUDSON FALLS -- Registration for pupils entering kindergarten in the Hudson Falls Central School District will be held on March 13 and 14.
Parents can register children at the Margaret M. Murphy Kindergarten Center from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students who are presently enrolled in the universal prekindergarten program do not need to register for kindergarten.
Children are eligible to enter kindergarten if their 5th birthday occurs on or before Dec. 1, 2014. Necessary data forms and appointment letters will be sent out, asking parents and children to come to school for the registration.
Parents with children eligible for kindergarten who have not received the forms by March 1 are encouraged to call the Kindergarten Center at 681-4500.
At the time of registration, parents must bring birth certificates for children to be enrolled and proof of any immunization against polio, hepatitis, DPT, measles, rubella (German measles), varicella and mumps. Copies of custody papers are also needed, if applicable.
Parents are requested to complete the registration forms mailed to them prior to attending the registration appointment.
