GLENS FALLS — The Glens Falls Gun Show at Cool Insuring Arena originally planned for this past weekend has been rescheduled for June 2 and 3.

The event hosted by Long Island-based promoter Marble Enterprises is scheduled for June 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and June 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The arena had postponed the show because the Section II boys basketball tournament was scheduled in the building last Saturday, on the same weekend that the gun show had been scheduled for the Heritage Hall part of the building.

Arena officials were not comfortable with having high school students in the same building as guns.

“We are happy to be able to reschedule this event with Marble Enterprises and look forward to our continued relationship with Martin Tretola,” Cool Insuring Arena General Manager Jeff Mead said in a news release.

Tretola, who owns T&T Gunnery, is holding another show in the fall on the main floor of the arena during the weekend of Oct. 13 and 14.

Admission is $10 for a one-day pass and $15 for both days. Tickets will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Cool Insuring Arena box office. Any dealers interested in being a part of the event should contact Tretola at 516-221-7380.

The dealer entry fee is $65 and will include an 8-foot table at both days of the event. All federal, state and local firearm ordinances and laws must be obeyed to participate in the event.
