The National Rifle Association announced it has endorsed Republican state Assembly candidate Dan Stec.

Stec received an “A-Q” rating, based on a questionnaire, the highest rate possible for a candidate who has not held legislative office, according to a press release.

Stec, town supervisor in Queensbury, is running against Democrat Dennis Tarantino, a lawyer from Queensbury, in the new 114th Assembly District, which includes all of Warren and Essex counties and parts of northern Washington and northern Saratoga counties.
