GLENS FALLS -- Mayor John “Jack” Diamond issued a snow removal reminder to citizens Saturday as snow once again fell on the region.

Property owners, including owners of homes, apartments and commercial businesses, must remove snow from sidewalks “in a timely and efficient manner,” according to the mayor.

The release from the mayor’s office also encouraged residents to reach out to elderly and disabled neighbors who may not be able to remove snow around their homes.

Residents can contact the mayor’s office at 761-3804 or their ward council member for additional information or to voice their concerns.

The streets on the west side of the city would be nice if the city plowed them.

That sounds good to me. Mr. Mayor, why don't you start with clearing the sidewalk on the bridge going into SGF?! GF never clears it!!
