KINGSBURY — Police arrested a Kingsbury woman on a felony charge Friday night after she was found to be driving drunk with her 4-year-old son in her vehicle, authorities said.
Nicole P. King, 30, of Ridge Road, was charged after Washington County sheriff's officers stopped her for traffic violations on Route 196 shortly before 8 p.m., police said.
Officers determined she was intoxicated and had a blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent, police said. The charge was elevated to felony aggravated driving while intoxicated because the child was in the vehicle, officials said.
King was arraigned in Fort Edward Town Court and released pending prosecution, according to the Sheriff's Office. Child protective services in Washington and Warren counties were notified.
Sheriff's deputies Paul Trottier, John LaTour and Kyle Kolar made the arrest.
