KINGSBURY — A Vermont woman faces five criminal charges after she was found to have drugs and an illegal knife during a traffic stop early Sunday on Vaughn Road, police said.
Misty D. Rollins, 35, of Bennington, was arrested after a vehicle she was in was stopped at 2:11 a.m., according to State Police.
Troopers smelled marijuana, and Rollins was found to have the prescription drug Suboxone without a prescription, amphetamine tablets, 11.4 ounces of marijuana-laced candy and two pieces of concentrated cannabis wax, police said.
Rollins also had an illegal switchblade knife, police said.
She was charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, three misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon, records show.
A man who was with her, Brandon S. Wiggin, 28, of Granville, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a noncriminal violation.
Both were released, pending prosecution in Kingsbury Town Court.
