QUEENSBURY — A Queensbury man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated Friday after he was found to have a blood alcohol content nearly triple the threshold for intoxication after a crash, police said.
Daryl E. Ives, 60, was charged after a 3:26 p.m. crash on Hiland Springs Road, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
Police said he went off the road, hit a parked vehicle and tree, but was not hurt.
His BAC was found to be 0.23 percent, which resulted in a misdemeanor count of aggravated DWI, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
Ives was released pending prosecution in Queensbury Town Court. The case was handled by sheriff's Patrol Officer Dan Habshi.
