FORT EDWARD — A Granville man who was arrested in April for transporting drug dealers around the region has been sentenced to 5 years on probation on a felony charge.

Neal Wilday, 36, pleaded guilty to felony conspiracy in connection with a seizure of heroin, crack cocaine and the powerful prescription painkiller Fentanyl last spring in Granville.

State Police said Wilday was assisting a Fair Haven, Vermont woman who was selling drugs in the Granville and Rutland, Vermont areas. That woman, Lesele Fontaine, has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
