QUEENSBURY — A Glens Falls man who was arrested twice in less than 18 months for attacking and choking a woman has pleaded guilty to a felony charge and been sentenced to jail and probation.
Jerry B. Goodge, 56, was arrested last June for allegedly choking a woman and violating an order of protection at a home in Glens Falls, an arrest that came after one for similar allegations in January 2016.
He pleaded guilty last week in Warren County Court to a felony count of criminal contempt, with the understanding he serve four months in Warren County Jail to be followed by a year of interim probation.
If he does well during the probation, he will be sentenced to an additional term of probation. If not, he faces a jail or prison term.
