QUEENSBURY — A parolee who was arrested in October for choking a woman and holding her against her will is headed to state prison after his guilty plea Wednesday to a felony in Warren County Court.

Christopher L. Magee, 37, of Glens Falls, pleaded guilty to felony aggravated family offense in connection with an arrest by Glens Falls Police, records show. He entered an "Alford Plea" in which he did not admit the underlying allegations, but pleaded guilty.

No serious injuries were reported.

Magee was on parole at the time for a 2009 burglary conviction related to a knifepoint home invasion robbery in Glens Falls and has at least two prior felony convictions.

He faces up to 4 years in state prison when sentenced April 25 by Warren County Judge John Hall. He is being held in Warren County Jail pending sentencing.
