QUEENSBURY — A Glens Falls man who sold marijuana while working for the Queensbury Highway Department last summer pleaded guilty to a felony last week in Warren County Court.
Scott A. Mabb, 53, pleaded guilty to criminal sale of marijuana in connection with a sale of 25 grams or more of marijuana last Aug. 16. Police said he sold the drug at a home on Old Cronin Road in Queensbury, driving a town vehicle to make the sale.
Mabb, who was a supervisor for the Highway Department, resigned in September, after his arrest was publicized. He had worked for the department for 21-1/2 years.
Warren County Judge John Hall put him on interim probation for a year. If he does well, he will be allowed to withdraw the felony plea, and plead guilty instead to a misdemeanor, with a sentence of probation. If he does not succeed on probation, he faces a potential jail or prison sentence.
