QUEENSBURY -- A Level 2 sex offender who moved out of a local motel but did not register his new address as required was arrested recently, police said.

Michael F. Jeske, 36, was arrested April 15, about a month after he moved out of the Best Inn on Big Boom Road, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office. Police did not say in a press release where Jeske was found.

He was charged with failure to register, a felony.

Jeske is a Level 2 sex offender because of 2007 convictions in Washington County Court for sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy and possessing child pornography. He served a 3-year prison term and was released Feb. 25, corrections records show.

Jeske was arraigned in Queensbury Town Court and sent to Warren County Jail without bail.

Sheriff's officers Paul Wells and Greg Dunn handled the case.

So, Mr. Jeske was staying at the same motel where the manager, Paresh Patel now stands accused of fraud involving food stamps. Small world, ain't it ? Maybe the two of them will end up in the same prison cell.
