CHESTER -- A central New York woman was charged with felony assault Friday after a dispute over a motel room tab led to a fight with police and a state trooper being bitten, officials said.
Gillian A. Albicker, 44, of Barneveld was arrested after State Police were called to Lee's Motel on Route 9 because a guest would not pay a room tab, authorities said.
Albicker was not cooperative and fought with police, biting a State Police sergeant on the arm during a scuffle, officials said.
She was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, for the officer's injury, and also charged with misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and theft of services, according to State Police.
Albicker was released on cash bail pending prosecution in Chester Town Court.
