CAMBRIDGE -- A Cambridge woman who was wanted for a 2008 burglary in Shaftsbury, Vt., was arrested Tuesday night in Cambridge.

Kristy Morse, 24, was one of three people who Vermont State Police announced this week had been charged in a home burglary in which a safe containing $24,000 was stolen.

Morse and co-defendant Trenton McCray, 24, formerly of Cambridge were being sought while co-defendant Tiffany Thurston was arrested earlier this month, police said.

Cambridge-Greenwich Police Chief George Bell said officers from his department located Morse at a motel on Route 22 late Tuesday.

She was arraigned and sent to Washington County Jail pending extradition proceedings to Vermont.

McCray is still being sought.
