Did you happen to save any of your money from your Black Friday shopping trip? There are some great prices on specific items the last week of November. Stores want to make as much money as they can by the end of the month, and they are depending on you to make them hit their goal. If done correctly, shopping this time of year will save you hundreds. If you are in the market for some of these things, the time to buy is now.

Televisions: I have been telling you to put off your purchase of these big screens, but now is the time to start shopping. Stores are putting all models on sale and consumers are able to save a great deal of money. You can expect 40-inch 4K units to sell for just $170, while 50-inch units will hit the shelves for just $40 more, an unheard-of price a few years ago. This means you may be able to get a better quality TV or a bigger size screen for less money.

Apple products: If you are an Apple watch or iPhone lover, keep your eye out for some great deals coming in the next couple of weeks. They have new models, so they will be pushing them but also moving the “old” ones to get rid of them. Take advantage of these lower prices on some better technology for your family.

Large appliances: Just like the President’s Day or Veteran’s Day sales, this time of year is a great time to find a new refrigerator or washer and dryer. Stores have new merchandise coming in, which allows them to mark down products from last year. Check out the scratch and dent items as well. You could easily save hundreds off a stove that has a scratch on the side that no one will ever see once it is installed.

Game consoles: PS4 and XBox One X are hot this year. They may be on your children’s Christmas list. Keep your eye open for bundle deals. These may include a free game or two, an extra controller, etc. A little more bang for your buck.

Always remember to compare prices before purchasing these bigger ticket items. Go online, compare and look for coupon codes. Doing some homework can save you substantially.
