HUDSON FALLS -- Vicki L. Canale, 49, of Hudson Falls, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at Albany Medical Center, after a brief illness.

Born June 6, 1960, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Evelyn (Fuller) Walsh and the late Carmen Canale.

Vicki was a graduate of Glens Falls High School and received her Mortuary Science Degree at Hudson Valley Community College. She worked at the Glens Falls Hospital.

She was a communicant of St. Mary's/St. Paul's Church in Hudson Falls. She was very spiritual and loved reading, cooking and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

She was an avid Red Sox fan. Vicki was a second mother to all who knew her.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her sister, Melissa DeLucca and her aunt, Jeanne Marino.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, Evelyn (Fuller) Walsh and her longtime partner, Dale Parrish of Argyle, include; three daughters, Danielle Canale and her partner, Chris Tucker, of South Glens Falls, Amiee Bowe and her husband, Matthew, of Hudson Falls and Katy Cowles and her husband, Matthew, of California; five grandchildren; Vincent Canale-Bowe, Natalee Tucker, Sonny Cowles, Amelia Canale-Bowe and Xander Canale-Bowe; one brother, Carmen Joseph Fuller and his wife, Tracy, of Indiana; one sister, Judi Landolfi and her husband, Nick, of Argyle; special cousins, Suzanne DelSignore, Jeanne Marino, Jane Passino and Rosemary Flaska; a special niece, Melynda Wells; her best friend, Jennifer McIntosh and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's/St. Paul's Church, on the park, in Hudson Falls.

The Rite of Committal will follow at Pine View Cemetery in the town of Queensbury.

Memorial donations may be made in Vicki's name to a military organization of one's choice.
