QUEENSBURY — Ursula M. Jarosch, 95, of Queensbury, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017.
She was born May 4, 1922 in Germany, and came to the United States in 1952.
Ursula was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, baking and gardening. She was also a very competitive board game player. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd of Glens Falls.
She is predeceased by her husband, Karl Jarosch; two sons, Hans Jarosch and Reiner Jarosch; and a daughter, Rosemarie Jarosch.
Survivors include two daughters, Christina LaPan (Beecher) of Queensbury and Barbara Keup (Gunter) of Great River; daughter-in-law, Margaret Jarosch of Wappingers Falls; nine grandchildren, Sean LaPan (Ling) of Queensbury, Tyler LaPan of Queensbury, Dylan LaPan of Queensbury, Andrea Starace of Yorktown Heights, Daniel Jarosch of Wappingers Falls, Christopher Jarosch, Shannon Foutch, Sharon Jarosch and Jeffrey Jarosch. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Christopher Starace and Julia Starace, both of Yorktown Heights, and Jaxon LaPan of Queensbury.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place at Pine View Cemetery.
There are no calling hours scheduled.
