GLENS FALLS - Robert P. Infield Sr., 65, of Glens Falls passed away on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness.

Born June 19, 1945, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the Elmer and Katherine Infield.

Robert was an area painting contractor for most of his life.

He was a very talented at playing billiards, loved sports and was an avid Dodgers fan.

Two sons, Donald and Daniel Infield and his brother, Leroy Hozley, predeceased Robert.

Survivors include three sons: Robert Infield and his wife, Kim, Richard Infield and his wife, Amy and John Infield, all of Glens Falls; one daughter, Leah Thompson and her husband, Kevin, of Fort Edward. Also surviving Robert is his girlfriend, Nancy Pratt of Glens Falls; his sisters, Vivian Cossey of Ticonderoga, Ruth Elmore of Hudson Falls; his dear friend, Alfred Parker; and several grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Family and friends may call from noon to  2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at the Regan and Denny Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury.
