June 22, 1979 — April 13, 2018 FORT ANN — It is with great sadness that the family of Joshua L. Fronhofer (known as Frog to his friends), of Fort Ann, passed away on April 13, 2018, as the result of injuries sustained in an accidental fall.
He was born in Glens Falls, on June 22, 1979 to his loving mother, Dottie Story and father, Leonard Fronhofer IV. He was raised in Glens Falls and South Glens Falls and attended both schools.
He had been employed as a roofer for many years and was a skilled craftsman at his trade.
The primary love of his life was his son Noah. All that he did and tried to do was motivated by his love for Noah. He also loved his family and was devoted to, and enjoyed social outings with many friends.
He was an adamant football fan and his favorite NFL team was the Oakland Raiders. He also enjoyed fishing and horseshoes. Some of the happiest and most memorable moments of his life involve him doing activities with his son, niece and nephew.
He is survived by his son, Noah Fronhofer; his loving mother, Dottie, and step-father, Alex Story Bis; brother, Joel Collins, and niece, Mia Collins; sister, Tiffany Collins, and nephew, Abel Collins; sister, Kat Fronhofer; grandmothers, Jane Story and Donna Merlow; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St, Hudson Falls, with a service to follow at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Burial is at the convenience of the family.
Joshua’s family requests memorial donations in his memory be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 51 Blossom Street, Boston MA 02114; or the animal society of one’s choice.
