QUEENSBURY — Jeffrey A. Jackson, of Stephanie Lane, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, after this brave fighter fought courageously for two and a half years in his battle against Colon Cancer. He was 15 years old.
Born on Dec. 11, 2001 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Jeffrey Jackson and Mary Lou Ruff Jackson.
Jeffrey attended the Queensbury School district, where he would have been in tenth grade this year. He was a wonderfully sweet, kind and extremely bright and intelligent boy. Like most boys his age, he loved to play video games and skateboard with his friends. He loved to eat and enjoyed all kinds of food. When he had something that he really liked and enjoyed, he loved to share it with everyone around him. He enjoyed music and loved to sing and dance, no matter who saw him or what they thought. Jeffrey’s greatest love and enjoyment came from spending time with his family and their camping and fishing trips. He loved them dearly.
Survivors include his mother and father, Jeffrey Jackson and Marylou Jackson; his sister, Mea Jackson; paternal grandparents, Rob and Diana Minor and Jeff and Gail Jackson; maternal grandparents, Joe and Anita Ruff and Jacqueline Ruff; his nana, Teresa Bydairk; his best friend, Hunter Brunelle; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
