WEARE, N.H. - Jacob "Jake" Geiser, 18, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, July 10, 2011.

Born in Ticonderoga, N.Y., he had been a resident of Weare for the past 8 years.

Jake attended John Stark Regional High School.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and making people laugh. He also enjoyed spending time with his siblings.

Survivors include his mother, Michele Stark and her companion Roy Stevens of Granville, N.Y.; his sisters Joey Lea Geiser of Granville and Jessica Geiser of Ticonderoga and brother, Devon Morris of Granville, Paul Morris, who he considered as a stepfather; his maternal grandmother, Patricia Macri of Granville; great-grandmother, Charolotte Burney of Hampton, N.Y.; aunts, Brenda Streeter and her husband, Jon and their children, Christopher and the late Samatha of Hudson Falls, Tricia Stark and her companion, Herb Bates and their children, Morgan Saddlemire and Ethan Bates of Hudson Falls; uncles, Herb Stark and his wife, Christine and their children, Keanan Stark, Josh DeGraff and David DeGraff of Whitehall, Shane Marino and his wife, Leah and their child, Isaiah Marino of Whitehall.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the request of his mother.
