STONY CREEK — Eloise K. Winslow, 99, of Warrensburg Road, entered her heavenly rest on Oct. 10, 2017 at her home.
Born Nov. 13, 1917 in Stony Creek, she was the fourth of six children of Melvin and Pearl Winslow Kenyon. She grew up and spent her life in Stony Creek. Eloise had the blessing of two wonderful marriages, each of long duration. She accepted Christ as her savior and lord, and now all are together.
She married Harold Thomas on June 16, 1934. They had three children, Roger, Carl and Joan. Mr. Thomas passed away in 1989, after 55 years of marriage. In 1991, Eloise married Watson Winslow. Mr. Winslow passed away in July 2010. She was also predeceased by one son, Roger Thomas in 2003; and by her siblings, Muriel Eddy, Waltrude Smith, Melvin Kenyon, Mary McCoy and Vera Thomas.
Left to cherish Eloise’s memory are her son, Carl Thomas (Nora); her daughter, Joan Webster (Delbert); and her daughter-in-law, Ramona Thomas (Roger). She also is survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; along with one stepdaughter, Linda McGuire (Dennis); and their children, plus several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brewer Funeral Home, 24 Church St. Lake Luzerne.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lee Call, Pastor of Faith Baptist Church of Warrensburg, officiating. Burial will be at Knowlhurst Cemetery, Stony Creek. Following the graveside services, there will be an open house at the Stony Creek Town Hall from noon until 4 p.m.
