FORT ANN — Bonnie L. Neddo, 57, passed away on Dec. 2, 2017 at home, surrounded by her loving family after fighting a courageous battle with glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer.
Born on May 25, 1960 in Elmira, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Anna May (Wead) Mothershed.
Bonnie was a bus driver for Fort Ann Central School for 18 years. She was a lover of the outdoors and spent many hours in her vegetable garden with her husband, William. Her hobbies included making crafts, sewing, knitting, word-searches and cooking. Bonnie cherished her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Besides her parents, Bonnie was predeceased by her brother, Robert Mothershed.
Survivors include her husband, William H. Neddo Sr. of 35 years; two sisters, Debbie (Sam) Deprimo of Elmira and Joyce (Bill) Karl of Elmira; three brothers, John (Mary) Simons of Florida, Melborn (Lorraine) Mothershed of Elmira and Alfred (Lori) Mothershed of Geneseo; two daughters, Christine (Shawn) Randall of Fort Ann and Jessica Neddo of Fort Ann; one son, William (Renee) Neddo Jr. of Bolton Landing; and four grandchildren, Shea, Ryan, Sara and Abraham.
Friends and family may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at Mason Funeral Home, 18 George St. Fort Ann. A memorial service will be celebrated directly following the calling hours.
The family would like to thank the Glens Falls Hospital Cancer Center Tower 2 staff and the nurses who cared for Bonnie in her home for all their love and support.
