CORINTH — Ashley R. Young, 20, of Palmer Avenue, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on Aug. 6, 1997 in Watertown, she was the daughter of Amy S. (Mosher) Young of Corinth and Allen Young of Corinth.
Ashley graduated from Corinth High School in 2015 and was a member of the volleyball team.
She was employed as an office/sales clerk at Market 32 in Wilton for two years.
Ashley attended Gateway Church of Corinth for several years and always encouraged others to keep their faith in God.
She loved children, watching the Food Network and baking and her pet dogs, Peanut, Bandit and Brownie.
Survivors besides her parents include three siblings, Mathew Young of Corinth, James “JT” Young of Corinth and Taylor Young of Corinth; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at the Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave. with Pastor Wade Petteys officiating.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family wishes to thank the staff and doctors at Albany Medical Center, Community Hospice of Saratoga, Ronald McDonald House, the Town of Corinth EMS, the Corinth Central School and all the fundraisers that were held on Ashley’s behalf and everyone else for all their kindness and compassionate care, prayers and donations. Ashley would wish to especially thank Tammy Young. The family will always remember you.
