Lake George Distillery

John McDougall works with relatives and friends to renovate space for the Lake George Distilling Company along Route 149 in Fort Ann on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013. McDougall and wife Robin are starting up what looks to be the first legal distillery in Washington County. The building was previously used for a construction business on one side and a pizza shop on the other. The dividing wall will now be between the tasting room, at left, and distillery, at right.
