Counting Mayor John "Jack" Diamond, the members of the next Glens Falls Common Council will be split 4-3 Democrate to Republican.

Diamond is a Democrat, and he will be joined by new members Bill Collins from Ward 2 and Jim Campinell from Ward 1, along with Councilman-at-Large Dan Hall, who ran unopposed for re-election.

In Ward 3, Republican Jane Reid was running unopposed for the seat to which she was appointed a few months ago when Scott Watson resigned.

She will be joined by new Common Council members, Scott Endieveri from Ward 4 and Jim Clark from Ward 5, who are both Republicans.

Of the people who voted what was the vote count for Jack Diamond? Just because the Republicans couldn't field a candidate it doesn't mean the good people of Glens Falls wanted nor voted for Mayor Diamond.
