On Sunday afternoon nearly 200 attended the NY Congressional Candidate Forum at the Moreau Community Center in South Glens Falls. The event, hosted by CAT21, gave eight democratic challengers, hoping to unseat U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-Willsboro, an opportunity to distinguish their platform from the pack. Republican Russell Finley was unable to attend due to a family emergency. Stefanik, while invited to participate, did not attend. The forum — from 2:30-to-5:30 p.m.— included candidate responses to prepared questions from a moderator and a closing town hall with questions from the audience.
