QUEENSBURY — Adirondack Balloon Festival officials have released the details of seven special-shaped balloons scheduled for this year's festival, Sept. 21-24.

Specialty shaped balloons making their debut in the 45th annual event include an American flag-shaped balloon, as well as Owlbert Eyenstein and Scorch the Dragon.

Special-shape balloons returning to the festival include Smiley the Scarecrow, Yellow Bird and Puddy Cat and Pokey the Turtle.

The festival starts Sept 21 in Glens Falls, and then runs Sept. 22-24 at Warren County sirport. Admission is free. A premium parking pass is available for $15 for the entire weekend.
