SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Adirondack Trust Company was the top lender in the region for Small Business Administration loans for the last fiscal year.
For the year ending Sept. 30, Adirondack Trust approved 42 SBA loans, amounting to more than $3.45 million.
“We are very pleased with the results of our SBA lending activities this year. For the 15th consecutive year, we were the most active locally headquartered and locally owned bank in both Saratoga and Warren counties, both in terms of number of loans made and in terms of the total dollars loaned,” Adirondack Trust President Stephan von Schenk said in a news release.
Adirondack Trust said its SBA lending program assisted in creating 101 new jobs across 20 businesses in the region.
