For most of the game, Sam Brittain seemed like the unbeatable goalie. He made flashy save after flashy save. But one stuck out on Saturday night.
Cullen Bradshaw appeared to have a wide open backdoor. The puck was fluttering a bit, but he made contact on what seemed a sure goal. Then Brittain's glove appeared out of no where.
Bradshaw collapsed on the ice in a "what gives?" kind of expression.
"He was good, he made some big time saves," coach Cail MacLean said. "Cullen was shaking his head and I'm like 'hey, what are you going to do? You got a piece of a fluttering puck and he bettered you, so you get ready for the next one.' "
