The Hudson Falls PBA page on Facebook has a call for residents to attend the police committee meeting at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Hudson Falls High School cafeteria.

“The Hudson Falls PBA asks all the residents of Hudson Falls to please make a conscious effort to make this meeting. Your support and input can and will make a difference in this study. Hudson Falls, your voice will be heard!!!” was the message Sunday, attached to a Post-Star article about the meeting. The committee, which had the idea of consolidation on the table at the beginning of the discussion, has come up with what it feels are three viable options. Those options do not include either merging the department into the Washington County Sheriff’s Office or merging the investigative unit with the county. There is a possibility those topics could still be discussed."
